Professional chefs Greg Feck and Michael Leidler will guide kids in creating gnocchi, pizza, apple strudel and gingerbread people, plus demonstrating how to cook a delicious ragu at home.
Led by professional chefs, Greg Feck (FoodandTravelCo) and Michael Leidler (Zimt Patisserie), kids will get the opportunity to make gnocchi from scratch, create their dream pizza, decorate gingerbread people and hand-stretch and roll a giant apple strudel. There will also be an interactive demo on how kids can cook a delicious ragu at home for their family.
This class has been designed for kids aged 6 to 12 years old, and ensures that whilst their little hands will be kept busy, in the interest of safety they will have no interaction with knives, ovens, stovetops or electrical equipment.
We ask that each child be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the class, and will ensure you will be well looked after with a glass of bubbles and nibbles in our decked courtyard, and FoodandTravelCo's director, Kim Coronica, on hand to answer questions.
All junior cooks will eat their dream pizza and gingerbread people during the class, and will take home enough hand-rolled gnocchi, ragu and apple strudel to feed a family of four for dinner that night.
This is an interactive, educational class for kids, which will teach them about ingredients and basic techniques, but above all else demonstrate how much fun cooking can be and perhaps even inspire some future chefs in the making.

For those interested in consuming only the very best produce, experience an enlightening dinner with matched wines showcasing some of Victoria’s finest artisanal producers.
The FoodandTravelCo Cooking School is like no other in Victoria, let alone the Southern Hemisphere. Modelled around provincial French antiques and the Italian countryside, adorned with copper pots, French pantries and a baby blue Lacanche oven, the space has been designed to bring Tuscany and the South of France to Melbourne.
Speciality producers from all over Victoria will transform the Cooking School into an edible forum, where guests will have an exclusive opportunity to learn about how local produce is grown, harvested, churned, raised, pressed and matured.
A four-course dinner with matched wines, created by FoodandTravelCo's chef, Greg Feck, will be crafted to highlight each of the following exquisite producers:
• Warialda Belted Galloway Beef, Clonbinane, with Lizette & Allen Snaith
• Sea Bounty Mussels, Bellarine Peninsula, with Lizzie Franklin
• Mount Zero Olives, Grampians, with Richard Seymour
• That's Amore Cheese, Donnybrook, with Giorgio Linguanti
• Myrtleford Butter Factory, High Country, with Naomi & Bronwyn Ingleton
• Yabby Lake Vineyard, Mornington Peninsula/Heathcote, with Tom Carson
Hosted by FoodandTravelCo's director, Kim Coronica, this is the ideal event for those interested in consuming only the best produce and understanding its journey, from paddock to plate.
